Who is responsible

What this site does and does not collect
This site has no contact form, no login, no shopping basket and no newsletter. It does not profile you, and it does not sell or share anything about you.
The only data collected is anonymous visit statistics, and only if you agree to it. If you refuse, or if you close the banner without answering, nothing is collected and nothing is sent anywhere.
Cookies
No cookie is set before you accept one. The banner appears on your first visit and the analytics script is not loaded until you choose.
If you accept, Google Analytics 4 sets two cookies:

Your choice itself is remembered in your browser’s local storage, under the
name saici.consent, holding either granted or denied. This is not a
cookie and is never sent to us or to anyone else — it exists so that the banner
does not ask you the same question on every page. Storing it does not require
your consent, because it does nothing except remember what you asked for.
What Google Analytics is used for
To count visits and see which product pages are read, so that the range is described where people are actually looking. Advertising features, Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off, so no cross-site or cross-device advertising profile is built from your visit.
The data is processed by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, acting on our instructions, and may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognised as providing adequate protection in July 2023, together with the standard contractual clauses in Google’s terms. Statistics are kept for 14 months and then deleted.
Web fonts
The site’s two typefaces are served by Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google when a page loads, before and regardless of any choice you make in the cookie banner. No cookie is set by this and no profile is built, but it is a transfer of data and you should know it happens. We intend to host the fonts ourselves and remove it.
Changing your mind
Press Cookie preferences at the bottom of any page to be asked again. You can refuse after having accepted, and refusing stops any further collection. Deleting your browser’s data for this site also clears the stored choice and the analytics cookies.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you may ask us what data we hold about you, have it corrected or erased, object to its use, ask for it in a portable form, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@saici.it.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.gpdp.it).
